About This Study and Consent
We value your perspective on what capabilities matter most when sourcing or producing drone components. This voluntary, confidential survey takes about 10 minutes.
What we are researching
The Manufacturing Technology Deployment Group (MTDG) is evaluating a trusted, intelligent, cybersecure distributed additive manufacturing ecosystem for buyers of Group 1 and Group 2 drone components to procure from vetted suppliers. We are assessing how important various capabilities of this ecosystem are to your organization.
Who is running it
This study is conducted by MTDG, Inc., confirmed by Dean Bartles, PhD. SPSSanalysis.com provides independent survey design and statistical analysis advisory support.
What it involves
The survey covers organization background, capability ratings, including cybersecurity and compliance, and four short optional comment questions. Please answer on behalf of your organization. Most rating questions require an answer but include Not applicable and Unable to assess options. Where offered, you may voluntarily enter a separate prize draw for a YETI Cooler 8-pack after completing the survey. Prize-draw contact details are collected separately from survey responses.
Taking part is voluntary
Participation is voluntary and you may stop at any time without penalty. Answers already submitted may still be used if you exit early.
Risks and benefits
There are no risks beyond the time spent, and no payment is offered. Findings will inform the development of domestic manufacturing capacity for drone components.
Your responses
Responses are confidential and reported in aggregate. Organization names are collected only to group matching responses and are removed prior to analysis. Data is hosted on MTDG’s Microsoft Azure GCC High systems, retained for two years, and then destroyed. To withdraw your response, contact Dean Bartles at dean.bartles@mtdg.org within 30 days of survey closure.
