Tips for Kids is team-based fundraising that takes place during Roof Sit, to help raise funds for the Community Healing Centers’ programs that treat
and prevent child abuse and neglect. It is a fun, rewarding way to make a difference in the lives of children in our community.

During your 2-3-hour shift, you and your team will wash windshields, and collect tips in return. We would need anywhere from 8-10 volunteers at each location. After completing your shift with your team, the money you’ve raised is taken to Roof Sit headquarters, where your total will be posted on our website! Teams can collect anywhere between $250-$500 during a shift. The activity is super rewarding and your team will receive lots of recognition for helping to raise money for kids who need our help.
Last year, Tips for Kids raised over $13,000 towards Roof Sit’s overall fundraising goal, and this year our goal is $15,000. All of the money raised stays right here in Southwest Michigan, supporting kids in our community!
