We have several course options for Summer 2023. You must attend all dates in full for your chosen course:

These three options will meet VIRTUALLY via Zoom from 5pm-7:30pm on the indicated days.
OPTION 1: May 1, 4, 8, and 11 (Mondays and Thursdays)
OPTION 2: June 5, 8, 12, and 15 (Mondays and Thursdays)
OPTION 3: July 6, 10, 13, and 17 (Thursdays and Mondays)

These four options will meet IN-PERSON at Brown Academy from 8:30am-3:30pm (with a lunch break):
OPTION 1: June 14 and 15 (Wednesday and Thursday)
OPTION 2: June 28 and 29 (Wednesday and Thursday)
OPTION 3: July 12 and 13 (Wednesday and Thursday)
OPTION 4: July 19 and 20 (Wednesday and Thursday)

For all course options, you will be able to purchase and pick up a new Chromebook from us for $50 prior to the initial class session. You are not required to purchase a device from us, and if you have a personal device that you are able to use during the class, you may also choose to pay for and pick up your Chromebook after the conclusion of the final session. You must complete ALL class sessions in full for your chosen course, or you will have to return the Chromebook to TGH and your copay will not be refunded.

Regardless of which class you choose, you will also receive 15 professional development credit hours for completing this course. A digital certificate will be e-mailed to you.

Completion of this application does not guarantee acceptance in to the course. You must be a Hamilton County resident and employed by a school within Hamilton County or Chattanooga city limits (teacher or staff member) to participate. However, if you have taken a Tech Goes Home class in the last calendar year, you are NOT eligible to purchase/receive a new device. Priority class placement will be given to applicants who 1. have not participated in a TGH class previously or 2. have not participated in the previous calendar year.

Participants must agree to participate in all class meetings and complete a combined total of 15 hours of these classes and projects/activities assigned by trainer(s) in order to be eligible to purchase a device. Participants agree to keep purchased TGH CHA device for professional/personal use, and any payment for the device is non-refundable. Failure to complete all class requirements will result in the participant returning the Chromebook to TGH CHA and the participant will not receive a refund.
