Test Innovators is committed to helping students grow and improve as they prepare for the ISEE and SSAT. Each year, we award six merit-based scholarships to students with the greatest score improvements. Recipients of the Independent School Tuition Scholarship will be given $1,000 (USD) towards tuition at their new school.
Applications are due by May 31, 2024, 11:59 PM PT. Winners will be notified by email on June 10, 2024.

—Eligibility—
To be considered you must:

1. have a Test Innovators practice account for either the ISEE or SSAT
Note: Free accounts are not eligible

2. complete this application

3. provide (2) official score reports for the ISEE or SSAT
The two score reports must:
  1. be between April 1, 2023 and March 31, 2024
  2. be for the same test (i.e., one ISEE score report and one SSAT score report will not be an eligible entry)

—Selection Process—
Three ISEE students and three SSAT students will be selected based on score improvement.

To measure improvement, overall test percentile scores will be used. For the ISEE, this will be calculated as the average of all section percentiles.

Students will be granted scholarships based on overall score improvement (percentile point increase between official tests) and greatest percent possible score improvement (for instance, with a starting test score in the 90th percentile, the highest possible increase is 9 percentile points. A student then achieving the 99th percentile on the subsequent test would be ranked at 100% for the purposes of our scholarship. If that student achieved the 98th percentile, they would be ranked at 8/9 or 89% for the purposes of our scholarship.)

Ties will be broken by random selection.

—Additional Information—
Students who are awarded a scholarship will not be eligible for concurrent Test Innovators scholarships or for future Test Innovators scholarships.

The $1,000 scholarship award can be used towards 2024-25 school year tuition only.

Scholarship recipients give permission for a publicity release to share the information contained in their application and to participate in marketing activities, including but not limited to, a video interview and photo submission.

Please note: Applications for students under the age of 13 must be submitted by a parent or guardian.
