About Connecting for Life 2015-2020
Connecting for Life is Ireland's national strategy for reducing suicide by 10% between now and 2020.  In order for us to meet this target nationally, every county in Ireland is required to develop a ‘Connecting for Life’ Action Plan. This will make sure that national policy is translated into local actions that are consistent, efficient and effective.

The World Health Organisation defines Mental Health as a state of well-being in which every individual realises his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.
