Please Help Us Improve!

Skippy is a mobile school based preventive oral health program serving children ages 0 -14.  Skippy’s oral health team of registered dental hygienists provide screening exams, fluoride treatment, sealants, cleanings, and good oral health education to children twice each school year. Skippy was created in 2008 primarily due to a shortage of dental providers in the community who see children or accept Medicaid or CHP+.

Hopefully soon, we will begin taking mobile x-rays during Skippy. We will also be partnering with area dentists to review the x-rays, develop a treatment plan, and provide identified restoration, locally.  This is known as a Virtual Dental Home.

Once we determine the level of need in your community we hope to expand Skippy to provide dental care to everyone, regardless of age.

This Virtual Dental Home is the next step for Skippy to become a comprehensive, mobile dental clinic. Please help as we explore expanding Skippy services by completing this short survey no later than Friday March 18th. Please be assured response are anonymous.
