Council is embarking upon an update of the existing Green Action Plan. The new Sustainable Strategy will be an important tool to ensure the Burwood Council area is implementing new projects and initiatives that will improve the sustainability of both Council operations and the community over the next four years (July 2021 – June 2025).

The project aims to:
1. Build an increased focus and understanding of sustainability throughout the LGA
2. Improve community satisfaction with Council through a greater focus on sustainability initiatives and practices
3. Strengthen and build organisational culture through developing a stronger focus on the sustainability knowledge of Council staff.

Have your say and contribute to the sustainable future of Burwood.
