We are
postponing all
qualitative research for now, given the uncertainty of the COVID-19 environment.

of our planned qualitative research using online and phone methods.

How do you feel about online methods for qualitative research: web-assisted phone interviews, online forums, digital ethnography, groups via Zoom or another platform, etc.?
I prefer these methods: no one needs to travel, and we can recruit nationally.
I am conflicted: these are easier to execute now, but I don't think they always deliver the depth of insight I want.
I prefer not to use these methods and am waiting for in-person work to start again.

When do you think you will want to get back to in-person qualitative research?
I actually don't see us using in-person methods for the rest of the year, at least.
I hope to get back to in-person research in the fourth quarter of 2020.
