Student Challenge Funded Places

The George Alexander Foundation (GAF) is providing fully funded fellowships to join the Earthwatch Student Challenge expedition - Ecosystems of the Murray River and Mallee from 26th Sep - 2nd Oct, 2021.

Each fellowship covers all the costs of the Student Challenge including food, accommodation and insurance as well as travel to and from the research site.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a GAF Earthwatch Student Challenge fellowship you must:
  • Currently be in Year 10, 11 or 12
  • Attend a State Government School in Australia
  • Have not participated previously
 
Your application must include a written reference from your teacher or principal which should be emailed to Earthwatch at studentchallenge@earthwatch.org.au

What do you think is the most important environmental issue facing Australia? Why?
