Maine and the nation continue to be hit hard by the opioid epidemic, which has worsened due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the increased availability of fentanyl.  Since 2020, Maine has been implementing a Strategic Action Plan designed to address the many effects of opioid and other substance use disorders on individuals, families, and communities in Maine.

It’s time to update our plan for 2023 – 2024 and we want to make sure it reflects the most important priorities and all possible strategies for success. We hope you will consider sharing your thoughts with us! The following survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous, unless you choose to share your name and email at the end.

Thank you for your input,

Gordon Smith
Director of Opioid Response, State of Maine
