This survey is being conducted as part of two interconnected planning efforts. The first is the update to Stonington's
Comprehensive Plan. The second is the
Maine Department of Transportation Village Partnership Initiative (VPI), a feasibility study focused on improving walkability, bikeability, parking, stormwater management, and multimodal safety in the village center. The Village Center consists of the Main Street and School Street corridor - including the side streets - from Indian Point Road (Square Deal Garage) to Veterans Memorial Park.
