St. Mary's Parish 2019 |
For close 100 years, St. Mary's has served the Dartmouth Community. These years have included many challenges and the parish has risen to meet them. Now, in the first quarter of the 21st Century, we once again are faced with challenges. A declining number of priests in the Diocese, declining numbers of young people attending Mass or connected to the Church and a shrinking awareness of what it means to be Catholic.
In addition, our parish is in the midst of a transition of pastors and new pastoral challenges.
This survey serves two important purposes. First, it will give Fr. David a more in depth knowledge of St. Mary's Parish and two, help identify the issues specific to the parish.
This survey is for anyone who lives within St. Mary's or who calls the parish 'home'. Even if you are not a weekly mass attendee, please take the time to share your thoughts so that St. Mary's may continue to be a valuable resource to the community.
