Thank you for your interest in the STAR (Students Tackle Abusive Relationships) auxiliary at Genesis Women's Shelter & Support! Please feel free to share this application with friends and prospective members who may be interested in joining the program.

Please submit your application by Sunday, September 13, 2020. The program will begin this fall. While our program typically includes monthly in-person volunteer opportunities at the Genesis shelter, these events are currently on hold until the campus reopens to volunteers. Students will be invited to participate in virtual educational opportunities and brainstorm creative ways to engage their peers in our work (organize a donation drive, host online fundraiser, create social media awareness campaign, etc.) to earn service hours in the meantime.

If you have any questions, please contact Elizabeth Corley, Director of Community Engagement, at 214-389-7714 or ecorley@genesisshelter.org.
