Who is conducting this survey?
The Strathbogies Responsible Renewables Community Group (SRRCG), which is focussed on a fact based, respectful and inclusive process regarding FERA’s wind energy facility and high voltage powerline proposal for the Strathbogie Ranges, Yea and districts region. It supports a transparent and honest approach to the community, stakeholders and decision makers.

What will happen with the results?
The results and summary report will be made publicly available and used to inform key decision makers involved in project approval, about opinions of the local community. It will also be used to inform the community about awareness and perceptions of the project.

In line with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014, we will protect your anonymity and privacy rights and ensure that all respondents’ information is de-identified. Results will only be provided in summary reports and individual responses will be kept confidential.

Will the community get feedback?
Yes, the results of the survey will be published on the SRRCG website (www.srrcg.com) and in other forums.

Can I send this survey to other people who have not received it?
Yes, please. We have only sent the survey to people who have previously contacted us and provided their email address. We want to reach as many people in the Strathbogie, Murrindindi and Mitchell local government areas as possible as they will all be impacted by this project in some way. Your assistance in passing this survey on to others would be much appreciated. You can do this by forwarding the link in the email you received, or contacting info@srrcg.com.

Is there a closing date for the survey?
Please complete the survey by 6 May 2024. This will enable the SRRCG to summarise the results and make the report publicly available. We anticipate running additional surveys over time, so this won’t be your last chance to have your say.

Do I need to provide my name and email address?
No, you may choose to remain anonymous however, if you provide your email address, we will be able to ensure you get the results of the survey and receive updates from the SRRCG as the project progresses.
