Spring Jam 2025 I Food & Drink Vendor EOI

Wagga Wagga's biggest event for little people is back! Spring Jam festival will be bringing a day full of fun, laughter and imagination to the Botanic Gardens precinct on Saturday 27 September, 10am - 3pm.

We're on the lookout for food + drink vendors to trade at Spring Jam's Food Alley and serve up fresh, fun and healthy offerings for families and children. Read on to learn more and submit your Expression of Interest (EOI).

There are two trading options available:
  1. Bring your own food van or trailer; or
  2. Spring Jam pop-up trailers - Council has purchased three (3) food trailers and one (1) coffee trailer, ready to be transformed into your very own pop-up kitchen.

Selection process:

Applications will be assessed on:
  • Menu offering and festival fit - think colourful, healthy, seasonal, fun food and drinks to entice families and children
  • Experience and capacity - proven ability to deliver quality food and service to large crowds over a short timeframe.
  • Sustainable practices - aligned with NSW legislation and single-use plastic bans.

Key dates:
  • EOIs close: 11.59pm Sunday 31 August, 2025.
  • Notification of outcome: by Friday 5 September, 2025.
  • Trading period: Saturday 27 September, 2025 | 10am - 3pm

  • Submitting an application does not automatically guarantee your inclusion in the festival.
  • No incomplete or late applications will be considered.
  • Vendors are required to be registered with Wagga Wagga City Council and obtain the necessary Temporary Food Stall Approval.

SPRING JAM FOOD TRAILERS
Spring Jam has three (3) food vans and one (1) coffee van available for experienced food + drink operators to trade at the festival. This option is perfect for bricks-and-mortar businesses wanting to bring their offerings to festival crowds.

Cost to participate is $200 including GST for the festival. Power is available at an additional cost.

The food trailers are equipped with one deep fryer, one gas griddle, two-burner stoves and sinks, while the coffee van includes a fully functional coffee machine. Vendors are required to bring their own consumables, including liquid soap, single-use paper towels, food-grade sanitiser, gas bottles and any other items needed to safely operate.

Vendors also have the option to trade from their own food van or trailer.


The cost to participate depends on the size of your festival footprint and ranges from $200 - $400 including GST. Power is available at an additional cost.

How much bump in time do you require?
The festival team will endeavour to accommodate requests, however specific times cannot be guaranteed. Bump-in and bump-out will be staggered to ensure a safe and seamless experience for all vendors.

Wagga Wagga City Council will not disclose your personal information to any person or body unless required by law to do so or if it is directly related to the purpose for which the information was collected.

DEADLINE

Applications must be received by 11.59pm Sunday 31 August 2025. No late applications will be considered.

NEXT STEPS
You will be notified of the result of your application by Friday 5 September 2025. Successful applicants will then be required to provide further information and documentation including, but not limited to, a certificate of currency, notification of temporary/special events food stall, risk assessment and agreement of terms and conditions.
