NorCal OUTreach Project invites you to become an event sponsor for Redding Pride 2020!
This year we are celebrating 11-years of Pride! The first Redding Pride was held in 2009 in the parking lot of our local Planned Parenthood. Since then it has grown to a week of events, attracting over 2000 attendees from all over rural far northern California.
In 2020 our goal is to empower the broader rural northern California LGBTQ+ and Ally community and show Redding, California that a proud LGBTQ+ community lives here and is actively supported by friends, family, and community.
Key events in our week-long celebration are the Light It Up With Pride! Rainbow Sundial Bridge Lighting and the Pride Festival at Redding City Hall.
Your important contribution will help us to:
Unite the rural northern California LGBTQ+ and Allied community in a vibrant celebration of Pride to show solidarity and increase the visibility of our local community.
Act inclusively by continuing to promote awareness of the diversity within the LGBTQ+ community by acknowledging the spectrum of identities that comprise it.
Educate and inspire Allies to visibly and vocally demonstrate their support of the LGBTQ+ community, and encourage them to commit to furthering their understanding of LGBTQ+ identity and culture.
Connect the LGBTQ+ community with supportive local agencies, organizations, and businesses that strive to foster positive health outcomes for youth and adults.
Raise funds that will go towards the NorCal OUTreach Project’s mission of acceptance, inclusion, and empowerment of the LGBTQ+ and Allied community in rural northern California, and keep our LGBTQ+ Community Center strong.
About NorCal OUTreach Project and NCOP Redding Pride:
NorCal OUTreach Project has been the driving force behind Redding Pride every year since 2009. It is the largest annual gathering for the local LGBTQ+ community. The festival attracts a wide range of supportive local agencies, nonprofits, businesses, and organizations. Past Prides have been attended by 2000+, and we expect attendance to be even greater in 2020.
NorCal OUTreach Project, a 501-c3 non-profit (EIN# 27-2073271) and is Redding’s LGBTQ+ Center. We are currently 100% donation & volunteer-driven, and have been serving the local LGBTQIA+ and Ally community since 2008.
Our mission is to support and unite the LGBTQ+ community and its many Allies by providing social connections, public events, support groups, and educational trainings. We strive to be inclusive of all genders and sexualities, celebrate the diversity within our community, practice cultural humility, and foster the health and wellbeing of the people we serve. We are committed to making rural northern California a safer and more accepting place for all by increasing understanding, acknowledgment, visibility and appreciation of the LGBTQ+ community.
