Fed 101 Classroom Presentations

Who Can Request a Presentation?

Educators at secondary schools, colleges and universities in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District (Texas, southern New Mexico and northern Louisiana) can request a virtual Fed 101 presentation for their class. Please allow two weeks' advance notice for scheduling.

Format:
 
A Dallas Fed staff member will provide an overview of the Federal Reserve suitable for your students’ level of knowledge. The program includes a virtual presentation and Q&A session in a single period of up to 60 minutes.

Time ranges available:
  • Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM CST
 
Technology platforms: Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Webex only

  • Money Matters:  §130.182.c.6.d
  • Banking and Financial Services: §130.186.c.2.a, §130.186.c.2.b

11.Would you like to request a recording of the presentation to share with additional students? (Recordings are available for 30 days.) If so, how many students?
12.List your first, second and third choices for a presentation date (MM/DD) and time. (Please allow two weeks' advance notice for scheduling.)

Presentations can be scheduled for a period of up to 60 minutes within the following time ranges:
  • Tuesdays 9 a.m.–12 noon
  • Wednesdays 12 noon–4 p.m.
  • Thursdays 12 noon–4 p.m.
