This is an opportunity to nominate one of your peers (per quarter) for going 'ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY' and to receive an ABCD Award.
First, let us define ABCD. 'ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY' means to do a lot more than you are required or expected to for your job. If you break the expression down into parts, 'ABOVE AND BEYOND' means to do more. 'THE CALL OF DUTY' refers to the things that you're asked to do for your job.
Secondly, please explain in detail why your nominee is deserving of ABCD recognition. Be compelling and don't leave out any details. Merely writing "doing a good job" is not sufficient. It must be extraordinary, for when a colleague's actions boldly and positively affect you outside the scope of the day-to-day, business as usual.
People nominated throughout the quarter will be reviewed and judged by the directors. The nominees selected by the judging panel will then be presented with their ABCD Award at the next end-of-quarter function.
