South Meridian Park Name Survey

The City of Meridian is currently considering potential names for its future regional park in south Meridian. Please take this brief survey to let us know which of the following names you like the best or to suggest a name for the park.

* 2. The new park in south Meridian will utilize ideas and concepts from STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). The park will encourage discovery and exploration through play and learning landscapes in innovative ways. It will be located on the bench in south Meridian, with views of the surrounding area and foothills. 

Which name do you like best for the park?

When completed, this will be the largest park in Meridian. The 77-acre park will be located off of Lake Hazel Road near South Locust Grove. The park will be built in multiple phases. The first phase is about 27-acres and is set to open by the summer of 2019.  It will include a destination playground, picnic shelter, splash pad, two softball fields, concessions building and more.

Disclaimer: The Meridian City Council will consider public input and make the final decision regarding the name of the park.
