Open call for EVERYBODY to participate 
  
What do we still associate with folk songs today? Are they still part of our history, our identity? Many of us know them from childhood or associate special memories with them. Independent of the language, folk songs are an expression of home and community. 

The Symphony Orchestra Basel would like to bring your folk songs in all their diversity to life. We want to learn from each other and sing TOGETHER in the most varied languages. Therefore, we need you: What are your favorite folk songs? How diverse does Basel sound? 

In the season of 23/24 we will organize a big singalong event in Basel, where we will bring a selection of the songs you send us onto the stage of the Stadtcasino. Children will support us in the choir on stage. You are also invited to join in and sing along in the audience.
