Community and  Stakeholder Survey

The Housing Authority of the City of Atlanta, Georgia, (AH) is proposing the future redevelopment of four vacant parcels, under four acres, in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. The site is the former Sophie Mae Candy Factory and a portion of the former public housing site U-Rescue Villas, (SoNo|301), which sits at the corner of North Avenue and Central Park Place. This site is a historic opportunity to build a mixed-use, mixed-income development in the heart of Atlanta.

In preparation for the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for qualified development partners, AH is seeking input on the programming and design components for the future development. AH invites residents, commercial tenants, and stakeholders located in the Fourth Ward West, Old Fourth Ward neighborhood, and in NPU-M to visit the link below, and complete a survey by October 31, 2020. A summary of the survey responses will be provided and used to inform potential developers as respondents to the RFP.

We thank you for participating in our survey. Your feedback is important.
