Welcome to the global skills survey on training needs in Sport for Development

ABOUT THIS SURVEY
This survey is part of the SKILLS4CHANGE project which aims to improve the skills of people working in Sport for Development or planning to work in Sport for Development in the future. Our goal is to provide e-learning courses on a global platform to support the much-needed professional development of the workforce.

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY “SPORT FOR DEVELOPMENT”?
Sport for Development (sometimes called “Sport for Development and Peace” or "Sport for Social Impact") intentionally uses the power of sport to promote goals such as anti-racism, social inclusion, integration of migrant communities, integration of people with disabilities, employability, education, personal development and self-esteem, and a range of other positive outcomes and values.

However, Sport for Development education and training has not yet received the attention it deserves. Our efforts, with your support, will help to fill this gap.

WE NEED TO KNOW WHAT TRAINING YOU NEED!
The survey is open to all interested people and organisations around the world. Please share it with anyone you think may be interested.

WE ESTIMATE IT WILL TAKE ABOUT 15 MINUTES TO COMPLETE.
You are not asked to write much. Answers to most questions are ‘tick-box’ only.

WE CARE ABOUT YOUR DATA
All data will be processed in compliance with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your responses to the survey will be treated anonymously, and nothing will be published which could identify you as an individual or organisation. You have a choice about whether you enter personal data at the end of the survey. If you decide to enter your personal data we will keep them for the purpose of the project and follow up activities around Sport for Development and will only use them to recontact you in case of opportunities for further consultation or to share with you latest developments from the project.

If you need any assistance with completing the questionnaire, please contact Geoff CARROLL (geoff.carroll@eose.org).

Yours sincerely,
The SKILLS4CHANGE project partners
