Module Three: Introduction to Vision and Change (V&C)

Welcome to Science in the Classroom's Development of Excellent Educator Guides Module Coursework! You are now on Module 3 of the five modules that will ask you to reflect on your own STEM education background and guide you towards producing educational materials accompanying primary scientific literature. By the end of this module, participants will be able to:

     1. Understand that the core competencies from V&C follow the same basic premise as the previous standards, with a focus on integrating
        content with skills
     2. Understand how these standards are applicable and useful across disciplines and grade levels, and not just undergrad biology
     3. Use the same principle of aligning content and skills that is championed across A Framework for K-12 Science Education, AP standards,
        and Vision & Change to help make connections across K-16.
