Module One (Part 1): Teaching the Nature and Practices of Science

Welcome to Science in the Classroom's Development of Excellent Educator Guides Module Coursework! There are five modules that will ask you to reflect on your own STEM education background and guide you towards producing educational materials accompanying primary scientific literature. Please note we will use data collected to better understand learning gains.

By the end of this module, participants will be able to:
    1. Explain or describe the difference between teaching science as facts versus teaching science as a set of ideas, concepts, and practices.
    2. Understand that this course features principles founded on education research.
