2019-20 Parent Volunteer Survey
In partnership with SHC administration, faculty and staff and as role models for our children, parents and guardians are encouraged to support our students and our school through volunteer efforts. The Parents Association provides a broad array of opportunities from which to choose. Working as teams that cooperate and collaborate in a spirit of camaraderie, we promote a school-family partnership and organize and host a variety of social and fundraising events. These include the Bruce-Mahoney BBQ, Annual Crab Dinner and the Spring Gala, the Parents Association sponsored fundraiser. In addition, we assist with grand SHC traditions such as the Walkathon and Grad Night.
All parents and guardians of current SHC students are automatically members of the SHC Parents Association. As such, you are invited to select the role you wish to play, from team leaders to helpers lending a hand from home. Whatever your desired level of participation, offering your time, treasure or talent is a concrete way to model our motto, “Enter to Learn, Leave to Serve.” The 2019-20 school year offers unlimited possibilities for strengthening our community through faith, fellowship, friendship and fun.
