Join us for an evening with Kelly Campbell for DIY Screen Printing!!

In this workshop, youth will learn how to screen print on fabric using embroidery hoop screens and gift card squeegees. Participants will have the option of painting their design into the screen or creating stencils with butcher paper. Bring your own clothes to print on or print on provided fabric.

Who is Kelly? Kelly Campbell (they/them) is an artist who works primarily with printmaking, drawing, and people. They love to share their skills and have years of experience teaching workshops to people of all ages from all walks of life. You can find them and their work on Instagram @kellygrub.

WHO CAN ATTEND?
  • 2SLGBTQ+ youth and alllied youth (a friend!)
  • Youth between the ages of 10 - 21
WHAT TO BRING?
  • used gift cards (will be using as a squeegee!)
  • Optional: Something to screen print on - fabric, t-shirt, pants, jean jacket. Natural fibres work best for the ink we will be using.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
  • All workshop materials provided
  • Snacks, drinks, materials and bus tickets will be available!
