Application Process
Pre-applications are accepted quarterly in April, June, October, and December.
Representatives from the SciFish Advisory Panel (SAP) review and provide feedback to applicants within 2-4 weeks of submission.
Review criteria include:
- Completeness
- Project addresses a clear research question and data gap important to assessment and/or management
- Project is a good fit for a citizen science approach
Applicants submitting pre-applications that meet the basic criteria will be asked to submit full applications. For pre-applications that do not meet the criteria, the SAP will provide feedback to help refine projects for submittal during a future review period.
