Information about California's Science Assessments

The California Department of Education (CDE) is interested in receiving feedback from you about the information that has been provided to local educational agencies (LEAs) and schools about the plan for assessing science this spring and beyond.

Please indicate your level of agreement with each statement below. This survey should take less than five minutes to complete. Thank you in advance for your participation.

That one grade at each high school (grade 10, 11, or 12) has been selected for participation the pilot test in spring, 2017.
How students will be selected to participate in the field test of the CAST in spring, 2018.
How students will be selected to participate in the second pilot test of the CAA in science in spring, 2018.
That once operational, the CAST and the CAA in science will be administered to students on a case-by-case basis based on the last science class completed or expected to be completed, not for all students in a specific grade level (i.e., grade 11)
