Introduction

Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2019 CDC Science Ambassador Regional Training Workshops!

These training workshops are intended for U.S. Citizens who currently teach middle school (6-8 grade) or high school (9-12 grade), or currently hold an education leadership position in a U.S. school, district, or state (e.g., district curriculum coordinator, principal, department chair, STEM coordinator, state teachers association representative, afterschool program director).

A limited number of seats are available and are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Dates and Locations
Participants are expected to attend both days of the workshop from 8AM-3PM local time. Exact locations will be provided to confirmed, registered participants.

Please only register for only one training workshop:
- Atlanta, Georgia (Monday, April 1 - Tuesday, April 2, 2019)
- Chicago, Illinois (Tuesday, April 9 - Wednesday, April 10, 2019) 

Cost
These training workshops will be held free of charge to confirmed, registered participants. Participants are responsible for all costs related to attending the training workshops, including lodging, food, and transportation.

Registration Confirmation
You will receive a registration confirmation notice within 1-2 weeks of submitting your registration form. Additional information, including location and group rate hotel blocks will be provided at this time.

Waitlist
A limited number of seats are available and are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will provide a courtesy waitlist once the workshops have been filled. You will be notified if you are a confirmed, registered participant or on the waitlist.

Withdrawing your registration
If you are no longer able to participate in the workshop after registering, please contact scienceambassdor@cdc.gov promptly so we can offer your spot to someone else.
