We are pleased to announce that this year TGEU has secured funding for a limited number of full scholarships from all regions of Europe to attend the Council. Activists from both Western and Eastern countries are eligible to apply. Please see below whether you are eligible for a scholarship.
Types of Support
Full and Partial Scholarships are available:
• Full scholarships cover registration fee, travel & lodging. This includes visa costs, where necessary.
• Partial scholarship holders will have the registration fee waived and will be able to attend the Council free of cost (does not include travel, accommodation or visa costs ).
Scholarship applicants coming from Italy should contact the Council host organisation – Movimento Identità Transessuale (M.I.T.)
Accessibility and dietary requirements will be handled during registration.
Applications Criteria
Scholarship applicants will be selected according to the following criteria:
• quality of application
• benefit for the trans-community from your participation at the Council
• (regional) diversity
• reason why you cannot fund participation yourself
• available funding
Preference will be given to TGEU members (group and individual members).
All applications must be submitted by February 29th (Noon CET).
