Try Transit - 10 FREE Rides

Try Transit is a partnership between SBCAG and all of the transit systems in Santa Barbara County, including BCycle bikeshare, Santa Barbara MTD, Santa Maria Regional Transit (SMRT), City of Lompoc Transit, Wine Country Express, Guadalupe Flyer, Santa Ynez Valley Transit, the Clean Air Express, VCTC Coastal Express, and the RTA Route 10. Free 10-ride tickets are available for anyone that wishes to Try Transit to see if it can work for their day-to-day transportation needs.

To find bus service in your area, visit our list of transit options in Santa Barbara County. For real-time schedules and directions, try using transit directions in Google Maps, our very own SmartRide.org trip planner, or MTD’s Bus Tracker app.
