COVID-19 Economic Impact Survey

COVID-19 Economic Impact Survey

With the outbreak of Covid-19, the demand for hand sanitizers sky-rocketed globally. For the U.S. distillery industry, especially entrepreneurial firms in the small and medium scale sector, this presented a tremendous opportunity. According to anecdotal evidence, some entrepreneurs seized the opportunity, moving into the production of sanitizers, and thus helping the society at large.

By surveying distillery businesses across the U.S., we intend to examine to what extent entrepreneurs pivoted into the manufacture and sale of hand sanitizers, as the impact of Covid-19 exacerbated. The findings will have important implications for entrepreneurs, industry stakeholders, and policy planners.

Thank you so much for helping us with this study by taking the time to complete this survey. It is greatly appreciated! All data you provide will be treated in a confidential manner. Findings will be reported only in the aggregate. Upon completion of the study, we will be pleased to share with you a snapshot of our aggregate findings.
