Introduction
Following the successful delivery of our Skills Bootcamps, we’re pleased to be launching a fourth cohort - our last Skills Bootcamp for 2026!
- Sales & Marketing Skills Bootcamp
- 100% funded for eligible self-employed individuals and sole traders.
- 90% funded for employees, including Directors of limited companies (a 10% employer contribution of £150 applies for SMEs.)
About the Programme
This Skills Bootcamp is designed for enterprising individuals, self-employed, business leaders and their staff across Lancashire who are looking to develop their skills and to grow personally and professionally.
This programme will be intensive but flexible, with two 3-hour sessions twice per week (for 12 weeks from Monday 21st September 2026, they will be held on every Monday and Thursday morning from 9:30am - 12:30pm).

- Understanding and winning new customers, and retaining buyers
- Making and closing the sale
- Using social media for customer engagement, building your profile and measuring success
- Creating actionable plans to support business growth
- Meet The Entrepreneur sessions - background insight in experience of other businesses, with a Q&A.
You will connect with like-minded people and access ongoing support beyond the training. Each person will develop a SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) action plan tailored to their ambitions - to build their business and to upskill their roles.
Who Can Apply?
You may be eligible to join a Skills Bootcamp in Lancashire if you:
- Are aged 19 or over
- Live in Lancashire (including Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool)
- Have lived in the UK for 3 or more years, or are a qualifying refugee
- Can commit to completing the full programme
- Have a genuine desire to increase your income or grow a business
