Saint Andrews and Area Housing Survey

The Age-Friendly Community Committee is seeking the opinion of residents, of Saint Andrews and the surrounding area, to provide feedback on housing needs. This survey will provide useful insight to identifying housing needs, affordability, types of housing stock needed, and services. The intent of this information is to help provide guidance to future housing developments in Saint Andrews and the area.

According to the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation, a household spending 30% or more of its gross income on housing is considered to have affordability challenges. Households spending more than 50% or gross income on housing are severely overspending and considered to be at a crisis level of spending, putting individuals and families at risk of homelessness.
