Routt County, Colorado Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Survey |
1. Survey Introduction
1 / 4 |
A planning committee comprised of representatives from Routt County, the cities, towns and special districts in the County as well as stakeholders are working together to update the comprehensive 2010 Routt County Hazard Mitigation Plan with a strategy to reduce the vulnerability of people and property in the planning area to the impacts of natural hazards and to remain eligible for FEMA mitigation funding programs.
The plan is currently being developed and will be consistent with FEMA’s Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 standards. This is required to maintain eligibility for certain types of federal Hazard Mitigation Assistance Grants.
In order to identify and plan for future disasters, we need public input during this planning process. This questionnaire is designed to help us gauge the level of knowledge local citizens already have about natural hazards and the types of activities that should be considered to reduce future impacts.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. When you have finished the survey, please click "Done" on the final page. Thank you for your participation.
