Essential Job Functions
Bussers: Assist with clearing tables, refilling drinks, and restocking clean plates, silverware, and glassware • Reset tables according to specifications • Set up and break down dining room for each shift • Maintain service stations in a clean and orderly manner throughout shift • Perform opening and closing side work, as required • Accept direction from servers
Hosts: Excellent telephone and guest etiquette • Accurately record reservations • Knowledgeable of food and beverages served • Understand mechanics of service, manage tables, and can arrange tables for large parties • Accept direction from servers
Dishwashers: Thoroughly, quickly, and properly clean, sanitize, and restock all dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots • Maintain, organize, and clean dish room/machine • Can operate dish machine, chemicals, and sanitizer to company and manufacturer specifications • Remove all garbage • Accept direction from cooks
GENERAL WORK EXPECTATIONS: Communicate ideas and information clearly. Work well in stressful and high pressure situations. Willingness to assist in other areas if need. Prioritize, organize, follow directions, and work cohesively with coworkers. Multitask with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. Bend, stand walk briskly, and be on feet for long periods of time or entire work shift, with occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water. Professional appearance, attitude, clothing, and grooming standards. Transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly. Fulfill catering rolls as needed. Additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by a manager at any time.
