Photography for Your Business is a 3-day training workshop that is part of the Office of Economic Development's Recovery Roadmap Business Training Series.
A picture is worth a thousand words! Learn and improve upon basic photography skills needed to effectively market and advertise your products and/or services in the ever-growing digital market of the internet and social media in which it is increasingly difficult to visually stand out. The good news is that even small businesses can get high-quality photos without blowing their marketing budget. Whether you need to take additional photos for social media to supplement the photos that your photographer sends you, or you haven't reached the point in your growing business where you can hire a professional photographer yet, this workshop will help you upgrade your photography skills. You will be able to use your improved photography skills to take photos that show potential customers or clients what you do and convince them why they should buy from you.

In this workshop, Jillian Regan, owner of Jillian Regan Photo and Video, will teach core photography basics including camera and phone settings, lighting and composition, staging, prop/product styling, and much more, while also allowing you to practice what you learn. in a virtual workshop environment, receive constructive feedback on photos you take during the workshop, and get your photography questions answered.

Businesses that complete the workshop will also receive a one and half hour professional photography shoot from Jillian Regan, producing 50 to 75 edited, retouched photos that can be used to effectively market and advertise your business!

This class will be hosted online on Wednesday, May 19th, Thursday, May 20th, and Friday, May 21st from 9am-12pm. Please complete the survey below to register for the class. We also ask that only one representative of your business attend per class due to limited capacity.
