Help Richmond Name Its New On-Demand Shuttle Service!
The City of Richmond will use the Clean Mobility Options Mobility Project Voucher to implement the city’s first citywide, on-demand shuttle program in collaboration with Via. The three shared, plug-in hybrid electric shuttles will provide a sustainable, dynamically routed, microtransit service to bridge transportation gaps and provide connectivity especially in underserved communities. This service will provide an innovative, affordable, and accessible transportation option for residents and visitors, reducing congestion and improving public health.
As part of this launch (coming Fall 2021!), we need your help! We’re asking the Richmond community to help name this new on-demand service. We have included a few potential service names that you can vote on below. You also have the option to suggest additional ideas for a service name as well. Happy voting, and thanks for participating!
