Theme: Spotlight on STEMSTEAM, STREAM - Exploring Today's Mindset.

STEM Conference 2021 will take place as as live, in-person event on Tuesday, November 9th, 2021 on the campus at the University of Cincinnati at Tangeman Center. As our theme Spotlight on STEM, STEAM, STREAM - Exploring Today's Mindset, suggests, the intent is to feature educators who've kept STEM, STEAM, and STREAM instruction in the forefront despite the many instructional challenges confronted during the pandemic. This request for proposals calls for submission of 2 types of presentations: First -the effective tried and true STEM, STEAM, STREAM Instructional Programs and Strategies that you have use over the last year that will encourage attendees to integrate these ideas into their own best practicies and SecondInteractive Workshops that will engage our conference attendees in labs, projects, or activities that you've conducted with your own students. (Details below.)  Proposal submission deadline is  Monday, September 27th, 2021.

STEM, STEAM, and/or STREAM, Instructional Programs and Strategies (60 minutes - including 10 minutes for Q&A and evaluations)

In particular, we are seeking examples  which involved teaming with the Language Arts, Social Studies,Technology, or Art teachers and/or have utilized Google docs or Google Hangout for student collaboration. It may have a virtual component as well. Identify how this project or lesson succesfully included other disciplines and met multiple learning objectives. We encourage you to submit proposals that demonstrate how you have presented effective STEM/ STEAM/ STREAM instruction inspite of the pandemic related obstacles.

Interactive Workshops (60 minutes - including 10 minutes for Q&A and evaluations)
