Resilient Farming Tas (RFT) Registration

Welcome to the Resilient Farming Tas Program!

The Resilient Farming Tas Program supports farm businesses to recognise, assess and address their risks and opportunities. Your coach will work with you to understand what you'd like to prioritise and will provide tailored information and tools to help you manage future challenges, such as extended dry periods, fires and floods.

The program will tackle themes around
  • strategic and financial planning
  • risk and opportunity management
  • safe farming
  • climate sustainable practices
  • decision-making and implementation.
The program will offer a range of elective ways to participate, including
  • individual farm visits
  • forums/information days
  • online learning
  • webinars
  • one-on-one coaching.
On completion of the program, you will have a Farm Business Resilience Plan that builds on your new and existing ideas or plans (written or in your head).

Up to 3 members from each business are eligible to participate in the program, with a total cost to the business of $500 plus GST.

This set of questions gives us the information we need to get you and your business started in the program. Following completion of this survey one of the members from our team will give you a call.

If you feel 'stuck' please reach out to moraga@rmcg.com.au with your questions.
We may be asked to share information with parties outside the program. This could include understanding the region where farmers are from, what they are interested in learning more about, and why they joined the program. Any information shared would be de-identified to protect your privacy.
Do you consent to us sharing information that does not identify you or your farming business?

Alongside the Resilient Farming Tas program will run an evaluation process to see how well the program works for you. This process will be carried out by a team from the University of Tasmania. Would you provide feedback to this process?
