Eastern / Western Regional Championships Event Survey

The Events Committee (EC) is in the process of reviewing the mandate and rotation of the Eastern and Western regional Championships with the objective of providing clarity to the site selection process. The EC is also interested in validating and prioritizing the mandate and objectives of the Eastern and Western regional Championships as it relates to the high performance system in Canada. The assumption being the Eastern and Western's will be run in accordance with the NorAm Canada Cup Technical package as a Tier I event including an open category and younger categories consistent with the National Championship age categories. The Eastern and Western Regional Championships will also include the midget category.
Please help us validate the reasons why you attend the Western / Eastern regional Championships and the criteria we should use for site selection. The intent is to develop a Competition Calendar that identifies major events over a two year cycle starting in the 2012 competition season.
