RCR Idea Dump

What are your top priorities for ensuring the Chesapeake region’s food system is resilient and crisis ready in the face of disruption, such as pandemics, climate change and other unforeseen hazards? We are looking for specific ideas for improving healthy food access for low-income residents; ensuring racial equity in the food system; building and sustaining strong markets for farmers producing table food for the region; using agriculture to curb climate change and improve water quality; building infrastructure, like communal cold storage, distribution, and aggregation – the sky’s the limit for remedying solutions.
