Overview of Proposed Random Drug Testing

Parents: As a continued effort to provide for student safety, Cuero ISD is considering adopting a random-drug testing policy, and we are asking you to provide your input.

Brief overview of policy:
Students who participate in extra-curricular activities, park on campus, or participate in off-campus lunch would be eligible for testing. Parents whose student does not participate in extra-curricular activities, park on campus, or participate in off-campus lunch can opt-in to participate in random-testing. A third-party company that is trained in drug testing would conduct testing.
