About Provincial Youth Ambassadors and the Ambassador Program:

Previous experience is not necessary to become a Provincial Youth Ambassador!
To be a Provincial Youth Ambassador, you must: • Be between the ages of 16-29 • Identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans, Intersex, 2-Spirit, Gender Queer, Queer, Asexual, Questioning or another identity that falls within the queer/trans spectrum • Commit to at least 10-15 hours/month between April 2019 - March 2020 • Commit to attending a 2-day retreat in Toronto, Ontario (expenses paid) on May 4-5th 2019
LGBT Youth Line recognizes the many barriers youth face in seeking opportunities for mentorship and growth. In light of this, we strive to provide supportive and inclusive skill-development to youth who are often marginalized and devalued.
We encourage applications from Indigenous youth, youth from African/Caribbean/Black communities, youth of colour, trans youth, single parents, refugees, immigrants, working class youth, and youth with disabilities.
