Portland Water Bureau (PWB) staff are working on new treatment processes for the Bull Run drinking water source to meet state and federal regulations for water quality. One project will be focused on reducing the corrosiveness of Bull Run drinking water to minimize lead in home plumbing from entering drinking water. The other project will be the installation of a filtration plant to remove potential contaminants such as Cryptosporidium.

PWB is in the process of making initial decisions on the new filtration plant and wants to hear what matters to customers about the quality of their drinking water and the filtration plant. The survey results will provide valuable information to PWB when making project decisions.
