Dangerous global warming is now the most pressing threat to a peaceful, prosperous future for humanity. Public service workers are on the frontlines of increasingly severe climate impacts - from extreme heat affecting outdoor workers to floods disrupting health services to bushfires requiring emergency response.

Quality public services are vital to both reduce carbon pollution and support communities responding to climate impacts. Union bargaining can secure protections for workers while strengthening climate action. Through sharing our experiences of collective action and bargaining, we can strengthen our response to this crisis together.

We need your voice in our Climate Justice Bargaining Survey. This survey will help us:
  • Build a network of unions actively responding to the climate crisis
  • Create a practical toolkit for climate bargaining across Asia-Pacific
  • Share successful organising strategies and bargaining clauses
  • Plan our collaborative work beyond APRECON 2025
The survey takes about 10-15 minutes and covers your union's climate organising, bargaining achievements (and attempts), and what support would help your climate work.

Your responses will be shared anonymously with other unions to support learning and solidarity. Results will be presented at APRECON in Kathmandu this September.
