Probus 50th Anniversary Members Survey

In November 2024, we will be celebrating 50 years since the establishment of Probus in New Zealand. A working group of enthusiastic volunteers from Clubs in both the North and South Island has been convened to assist with celebrating this significant milestone. A range of initiatives are being considered to commemorate the 50th anniversary in New Zealand in 2024 which will form the basis for celebrations in Australia in 2026.
 
These initiatives range from Probus branded wine and merchandise as well as golf and bowls tournaments and travel opportunities. To help us gauge interest from members for these initiatives, we are inviting all members across New Zealand and Australia to participate in a 50th anniversary survey.
 
Member feedback is an important part of this process, and we ask you to share this email with fellow members and encourage them to fill in the survey before 15th of December 2023.

Each member who fills in the survey including contact details will go in the draw to win one of twenty $25 gift cards. If you do not wish to provide your details, you can fill in the survey anonymously.
 
Please note any contact details provided in this survey will not be shared with any third parties outside of PSPL. PSPL will however share responses with suppliers to progress commemorative merchandise, wine, and travel opportunities.

6.Commemorative Merchandise
It is proposed that any 50th anniversary commemorative merchandise will be available for a limited period leading up to each anniversary milestone.

Consideration is being given to either a bowls or golf tournament in New Zealand with the emphasis being centred on Paraparaumu as the location of the first NZ Probus Club in Kapiti Coast.
