Get involved in our industry - nominate yourself, colleagues and industry peers!

We invite you to nominate yourself, your colleagues and industry peers for the PRHK Board for the term August 2022 to July 2023. This is your chance to get involved in the PR and communications community, drive forward the industry and be an active member of your profession in Hong Kong over the next year. 
 
Each Board member is expected to be a representative of our industry and to uphold the PRHK Professional Code of Conduct at all times. Board members are required to attend the monthly board meeting (held on the first Monday of the month) and participate in ongoing projects throughout the year.  
 
PRHK has a simple name and a simple mission. We are here to represent, champion, promote and grow the public relations and communications profession in Hong Kong.

For each of the below Chair and Sub-committee positions, please enter the full name and current company of the person you nominate, this can be yourself, colleagues and industry peers who are a member of PRHK or work at a PRHK member company/ agency.

* 2. Nomination: CHAIRPERSON

The Chairperson sets the agenda for PRHK in the year ahead. S/he host the monthly board meeting and association events, manage PRHK partnerships & affiliations and instigate opportunities for the board to address industry issues and communicate professional best practice.

This person must have a minimum of 2 years PRHK Board experience.

Works alongside the Chairperson in the day to day running of the association, driving forward existing and new initiatives to further the interests of the industry and profession in the city.

The Treasurer takes the lead on the finances of the association, responsible for the annual budget and audit, and the day to day banking.

Outreach and engagement with Universities and students and takes lead on the student internship programme.

Works alongside the Education & Mentorship Programme Chair to drive forward existing and new initiatives.

Develops the strategy and drives membership outreach across all categories.

Leads the events programme for PRHK from suggesting topics and speakers, and coordinating the programme. Supported by PRHK Operations Manager and each event owner.

Works alongside the Events Chair to drive forward existing and new initiatives.

Creates a robust content marketing strategy, and manages the PRHK website and social media (Facebook & LinkedIn).

Takes lead on growing the PRHK database, manages email marketing and prepares the PRHK newsletter. Manages media relations and outreach alongside the Chairperson.

Runs initiatives aimed at next gen talent and professional development, such as the PRHK’s flagship PR Young Lions competition Hong Kong edition and Work-life balance initiative.
