
Call for Evidence: Prevention and proactive care |
DHSC, the LGA and ADASS as Partners in Care and Health (PCH) are collecting evidence about what preventive and proactive care initiatives and services have been implemented in local areas across England. We are particularly interested in initiatives which focus on preventing the escalation of needs and/or admission to acute or long-term support.
The research is being carried out by Alma Economics. It will inform PCH sector-led improvement work and shape DHSC’s policy and research agenda.

- We are interested in collecting both published and unpublished material.
- Initiatives can be funded, wholly or partially, by both Better Care Funds (BCF) and non-BCF sources.
- Submitted evidence might include existing publications or reports concerning the initiative’s aims, target demographic, delivery, duration, funding, key challenges, successes, or lessons learnt, return on investment, potential for replication or scalability, or any other relevant materials.
