Application to be a presenter or workshop facilitator at Learning Disability England's 2027 conferences

There will be 2 conferences:
The online conference will be on Wednesday 3 March 2027
The 'in-person' conference will be in Birmingham on Wednesday 10 March 2027


The theme is: Lead with HOPE

Hope means believing that things can get better or that something good can happen.

Lead means helping people know what they can do and helping them move forward. A leader helps people work together and make things happen.

Leading with HOPE is part of all of our work on Building Good Lives.


At the conferences, Learning Disability England wants to:

- show the leadership of Learning Disability England members

- share examples of people and organisations working with HOPE

- create a space for people to connect with others to learn or get energy (and HOPE)

We only have a set number of spaces for presenters and workshop facilitators. We want presenters and facilitators who can inspire others - presenters who can get the audience thinking, talking and feeling hopeful. We particularly keen to include people who do not use words to communicate and people who are ethnically minoritised groups. Please read the information at the end about how we will decide on presenters.
